CENTENNIAL HOMES FOR SALE

In Arapahoe County is where you will find Colorado´s newest city, the City of Centennial. On September 12, 2000, residents voted to have the City of Centennial incorporated, and soon thereafter they were able to elect its first officials on February 6, 2001. It officially became a city a day later on February 7, 2001. The pursuit for a new city lasted almost 2 1/2 years. Centennial´s city incorporation election was the largest in United States history, with an approval margin of seventy-seven percent.

Centennial is proud to already have over 100,000 extraordinary people residing within

its borders, becoming the fourth biggest city in the Denver Metro area and the ninth biggest city in Colorado. However, because it´s still so new, residents often refer to the region with names of other cities adjacent to it, like Littleton and Aurora. With over 300 sun-filled days a year, residents of Centennial enjoy dry, mild weather all year round which is largely responsible for the influx of people searching for real estate here and in nearby areas.

The nearest non-commercial airport to downtown Denver is located in Centennial. Ranking as the 3rd busiest non-commercial airport in the nation, Centennial Airport houses a large fleet of private jets. So, if you happen to leave home without a jet of your own, this is the airport to charter a small plane to indulge in a private tour of the Rocky Mountains.

ATTRACTIONS
